Just when I thought I had it all figured out, this beachy blue color came into the picture.
I was for sure it was going to be cream that made it onto the chairs and into my kitchen.
But I'm thinking the cream feel too blah as opposed to the beachy blue.
The glaring white walls don't help anything and I may break down and paint them, but I'm trying not to get ahead of myself here.
You guys were right about the cream being a better choice than the black. Don't let me down here, beachy blue or cream???
I made this super tasty and healthy salad the other night and I can't wait to share the recipe with you in a day or two when I have a chance to write it up.
Hope you have something fun lined up for the weekend. It's Hot Dog Dude's birthday on Saturday, so I'm trying to think up something special to make for him.
Promise to catch up with all of you soon.
Happy Friday!!!
Gina
Hi Gina,
ReplyDeleteHmm blue or cream? At first I would say cream. But blue compliments red and of course matches cream.... Would it help you if you somehow tested out a piece of the fabric against the blue?? I know I didn't help any, sorry. Happy b-day to your Hot Dog Boy!!! Have a great weekend.
I'm leaning towards cream. I think it works a bit better with the fabric (which I love, by the way!).
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to learning more about your yummy-looking salad!
Thanks ladies, both good choices. See why it's so hard.
ReplyDeleteGina,
ReplyDeleteI kind of like the cream, with that fabric. Of couse. it depends on the other colors in the room.
PS I forgot to tell you that we bought a bookcase at our neighbor's moving sale, which needs to be painted. I guess that your DIY bug rubbed off on me. We are painting it white, or maybe we should go with beachy blue?
Have a great b-day party for your Hot Dog dude
I stay with cream...goes better with the fabric.
ReplyDeleteThe salad looks delicious!
I like the cream better and then you can paint one of your walls a beautiful red to highlight that great fabric!! Make blue pillows?
ReplyDeleteI think cream my friend, it has an elegance to it :D
ReplyDeleteLovely looking salad as well!
Cheers

Hi Gina! Looks the cream is the winner here! Can't wait for the salad recipe;-) See you tomorrow;-)
ReplyDeleteI think you might get tired of the blue before you'd get tired of the cream. Maybe a slightly less white cream? (More yellow? I'm not sure.) Both of them look pretty good. It might help to see the entire room. And for the record, I like white walls - makes rooms look bigger and helps showcase the things that are in them. But maybe a white wall with a bit of pink in the paint (still white, of course, but just the barest tone of pink - you won't notice it even when you look at it, but it looks great).
ReplyDeleteCream is a classic color that you will never tire of...Oh and I can't wait for you to post the salad recipe. It looks delicious. Farro?
ReplyDeleteBlue, cream I don't care, I'm just interested in that awesome salad. I don't need a chair to eat that :)
ReplyDeleteHi Gina it was so wonderful to meet you and your lovely blog! The afternoon just flew by.I really hope we can meet up again soon.Oh and My vote is for cream too :)
