Blog Awards and happenings at Spicie Foodie - My Interview and YBR

By the strange chance you haven't added this site to your blogroll; well you should immediately correct that.  On top of the beautiful blog Nancy - Spicie Foodie has been writing.  She has a wonderful cookbook, that's me reading it, and she has been interviewing fellow bloggers.  She has made some changes so I thought I'd pass along those links.

This is the link for the interview:

Now for those long overdue Thank Yous!  I love how these wonderful blog awards get passed around, and I'm grateful to have received some.  Instead of passing them forward at the moment, I just wanted to link the people who gave them to me, so you can pay them a visit and say hi.  I know I enjoy reading all of them.

Raven - Ravie Nom Noms; I was lucky enough to find Raven not long after I started blogging, and I feel like she could be my own daughter, I get so happy when I read about her dancing she is a real dancer, not one with hokey moves, like myself.  I love that her favorite thing to do is smile; I know you will like her just as much as I do.

I also received an award from Anu - Bhalokhabo, who is a new blogger with a blog that already has lots of great Indian food recipes on it.  I look forward to trying one of her recipes soon.

Elizabeth - Food & Thrift Finds, I enjoy so much about Elizabeths' blog, I can imagine myself going to Florida and hanging out with her and her lovely family.  I love all the tips she has for us and her food, just plain makes me hungry.  I've enjoyed watching her blog just get better and better.  I know you will like what you find over there.

Sandra - Sandra's Easy Cooking; I love reading Sandra's easy recipes, they may be easy, but they always sound so tasty and family friendly.  Thank You Sandra for thinking of me.

Maya - Foodivakitchen; Thank you Maya for passing on this lovely award to me!  I love Maya's writing and her recipes are so unique and always intrigue me.  I'm still thinking about her Cinnamon and tangerine bread pudding.  I think Maya is my long lost goofball twin; she just keeps it under wraps.

I think the award I got from Maya, came from Nancy - Spicie Foodie, did you know that when Nancy becomes a famous photographer, I'm going to be her assistant and carry her camera bags, or at least make her lunch.  Okay, so are you starting to spot the trend here.

I just wanted to say Thank You, I do appreciate it.  Plus these are all bloggers; I thought you'd love to give a read.  If there are any I forgot, I'm sorry just let me know and I'll add you.

I'm still recovering from all the birthday fun we had yesterday, so I will post that really soon for you.

Happy Monday Everyone!

Gina
